Hello. You’ve reached Time & Temperature.

In June of 2023 the Old 97’s converged on Portland, Oregon to record what would become American Primitive. We rented a house not too far from Mississippi Street. Everybody picked out their own bedroom. I got a low ceilinged attic room with a good vibe. I might have hit my head on the top of the door frame a few times after long days in the studio.
