Oh yay! Hey, Rhett. Good to connect again. I used to book you at Chumley's Dave's Art Pawn Shop in Deep Ellum. Hugs! Hope you are well and looking forward to your posts.

I really would like to hear about the day to day stuff that influences Rhett and affects his writing. As fans of artists we never really see how they get from point A to point B. We see the finished product and not the journey. I am always intrigued by the 'lightbulb' moment. I think knowing that can cause the rest of us to be more reflective in our own lives.

I'm a songwriter and a huge fan of Rhett Miller as a songwriter and as a person - so I'm here to steal ideas from you on how to be better at both. Now BRING THE WISDOM RHETT MILLER because this guitar ain't gonna pay for itself!!!

I’m here for it! Looking forward to what pulls at your mind and heart, the things that gnaw at the back of your brain and are begging to be written. You are admired, adored, and respected, so I hope you trust that whatever comes through your mind to share, that we will want to hear it.

When I was younger, I was lucky to be able to travel and explore the ancient ruins of Greece and Rome. Everywhere I went, there was an amphitheatre, and it made me see that art is not a hobby, or a choice... it is an essential and fundamental part of being human. Our artists, our troubadours, our sculptors, our painters, our poets...they have been with us since the beginning. Thanks, Rhett, for being here in our time!

Oh my God. There was a telephone number sponsored by the bank when I was a kid that you could call in and get the time and temperature. I thought who the Frick Frack doesn’t have a watch and a thermometer….

I used to love to call time and temp. One of the first numbers I learned at 4 besides mine and my best friends. I still remember those numbers by heart. ❤️

I’ll send you a phone with ampersand. Technically speaking (visually) this says “Time Temperature”. Also your diatribe regarding social meds is undeniable and underscored. And lastly don’t ask us for shit. You do you. Ask Rick Rubin might suggest think us this as a journal. It’s for you not us. You’ve already given us plenty

Excellent way to engage. I’ve never considered before but new to Rhett and new to me 97’s I need to know more. Heard an interview. He talks better than he sings and he’s my new favourite singer

I actually feel kind of a nice obligation to this particular man/band- I have just found 20+ years of great music to listen to while re engaging a dormant artistic nature.

I would have gone to every show locally ( Albany NY) and purchaed every vinal, CD- likely tapes if the timeline is correct- I owe them at least a founders membership. I would like to become one of the fans I was with in Albany recently - They sang every word in perfect time- 150-200 people with a common love - it was a BLAST- bringing my 6 brothers and sisters-next time (big Irish family- too many kids-but I love em all).
